Japan is a civilization which combines a legendary culture with traditional beauty.
The world seems to be reassessing this peaceful, harmonious style.
It is as though heartstrings are moved by the emotion-evoking style of Japanese design.
This sense of traditional aesthetic beauty is being translated into a very current and fresh sense of style and decorum for the twenty-first century.

Plus, natural carved wood is used for the backs of the dining armchairs. The properties of the materials and the subtle lines of the legs make for a beautiful design.

TOKI×Pagong
The Kameda-tomi Dye Works, long the home of the kyo-yuzen dyeing technique, was going to great lengths to decide how to pass the beautiful Japanese tradition of kyo-yuzen to future generations.
It was then, with the knowledge that the aloha shirt has its origins in the Japanese kimono, that they realized the way to hand down this culture was to combine the traditional with the modern. So they launched their Pagong brand of yuzen dyed aloha shirts and specially-made clothes.
Now, two companies with this common belief have crossed their borders to create TOKI x Pagong. Within this brand lies a sincere wish to keep the traditions of Japan alive for years to come.
